Physical-chemical characterization of uranium containing sediments

چکیده
The presented paper is intended to study the chemical behaviour of combined geogenicanthropogenic uranium content in specific stream sediments. sampling points have been chosen with respect natural conditions locality groundwater outflow from a former mine adit Považský Inovec mountain range, near Kálnica village. Besides total determination and physical-chemical characterization relevant water- sediment samples we carried out modified Tessier type sequential fractionation extractions natural- artificially contaminated after time dependent agitation air atmosphere argon. obtained results compared those fulfilled montmorillonite K-10. concentrations as well sediments determined by ICP-MS using HP 4500. determinations extracts accomplished according STN757614, utilizing arsenazo III selective complex forming reagent for spectrophotometric uranyl-ions at 650 nm. concentration taken its immediate vicinity has 31.75±0.35 μg dm-3 38.0±2.7 g-1 respectively.
